Free
Standard delivery for orders above R20,000.
Delivery area and order value
These standard delivery rates apply within South Africa. The threshold is based on the equipment total after discounts, excluding delivery and separately quoted installation services. An equipment total of exactly R20,000 attracts the R700 rate.
The delivery charge shown is the customer-facing delivery amount. We will identify any separately requested services before you accept a quote; we will not add an undisclosed mandatory freight surcharge after you have accepted and paid for an order.
Availability, processing and transit time
For in-stock orders, AHS prepares and dispatches equipment within 1–3 business days after EFT payment has cleared.
Estimated transit after dispatch is 2–5 business days for tools and diagnostics, and 5–10 business days for vehicle lifts, bulky machinery or remote destinations. Other standard equipment uses the 2–5 business day range unless it requires bulky freight. Orders containing both types use the longer range.
Allow approximately 3–8 business days in total for standard items or 6–13 business days for heavy or remote deliveries after cleared payment. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays. Installation is separately scheduled and is not included in these delivery estimates.
AHS confirms the expected schedule with your invoice before EFT payment. Contact us before ordering if a particular date is essential. Do not book an installer or workshop shutdown until the schedule is agreed.
Ask us to confirm timing before arranging an installer or workshop shutdown. If agreed arrangements change, we will contact you about the revised timing and available options. Where we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will arrange the applicable cancellation and refund.
Heavy equipment and site access
Please tell us about restricted access, stairs, loading areas, lifting facilities and unloading requirements. Hoists and workshop machinery may need appropriate handling equipment and an agreed delivery appointment. The quote will explain what is included and who is responsible for unloading.
Installation and commissioning
Delivery does not include installation, electrical work, civil work, foundations, commissioning or training unless the written quote expressly includes them. Any installation service and its price must be agreed before work starts.
Have a qualified installer assess the site against the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use lifting equipment until it has been correctly installed, commissioned and checked for safe operation.
Receiving your equipment
Check the package and item count when practical. Photograph visible transport damage and contact AHS promptly with your reference number. Reporting promptly helps investigation; it does not remove your statutory rights.
Collections and changes
Collections and changes to the delivery address must be arranged with AHS in advance. Do not travel to the business address or a supplier warehouse without written confirmation.
